Kasi Rao

Kasi Rao is a consultant who provides strategic guidance to public and private sector organizations on matters pertaining to higher education, government relations, business development, and policy issues, with a particular focus on India. Mr. Rao, who is based in Toronto, has a diverse professional background, having worked in the Office of the Premier of Ontario as a Policy Advisor, Office of the President, University of Toronto as the Director of the Office and Director of Government Relations, and Office of the President & C.E.O. at BMO Financial Group. Mr. Rao provides advice on India-related strategies to universities, think tanks, corporations and not-for-profit foundations. He also serves as the Senior Advisor on India at the law firm of Bennett Jones LLP. Mr. Rao has an M.A. from the University of Toronto and a B.A. from the University of Waterloo, with a major in Political Science. He obtained his primary and secondary education from schools in Gangtok, Bengaluru, New Delhi and Toronto.
