Reporting to the President and CEO, the Vice President, Knowledge and Research is a critical member of the leadership team, with both external and internal responsibilities. Internally the Vice President will provide vision, leadership and stewardship to the research team, and ensure the highest possible standards of research, working with both in-house staff and external fellows/associates. Externally the Vice President will interface extensively with Governments, institutions, universities and the corporate community in Canada and Asia and represent the Foundation as a speaker or participant at forums and events.
The ideal candidate has an outstanding record of scholarship and research leadership and innovation in Canada-Asia relations, with a proven ability to think strategically, build effective teams and partnerships, and present to a wide spectrum of audience in an engaging and dynamic manner.
