Abstract:

Since March 2011, Burma’s new government has initiated the most significant economic and political reforms for the country in over half a century. In light of these developments, Canada needs to rethink its Burma policy – not just in response to these very recent developments, but also to re-examine Canada’s hard-line policy of isolation that has been relatively futile.
