China, India, Japan -- Who Will Speak for Asia?

Abstract

As Asia’s role in global affairs grows, the region has yet to find a leader.  The Asian powers of China, India and Japan are far apart on agreeing on who should be a standardbearer or spokesman for regional interests in international forums like the rapidly emerging G-20.
