Leah Yin-Sokol participates in Canada’s creative economy and stresses the importance of Research and Development to foster creativity and innovation. As innovation is at the forefront of Asian countries’ priorities, Canada can find its niche by also promoting science, technology and design as the basis for its future engagement with Asia. Privileging a new image for Canada on the international stage, Leah wants Canadians to be recognized as innovators.
