ATI Technologies Selected by Three South Korean Computer Makers

Markham-based ATI Technologies Inc. announced that it has reached agreements with three South Korean computer makers for its Radeon graphics. LG Electronics, which specializes in consumer and commercial electronics, will now offer LG-IBM desktop systems powered by ATI’s Radeon 9800 and 9200 chips. TriGem Computer Inc., a supplier of PCs, will add Radeon 9200 graphics to its lineup of Dreamsys computers. Graphics card builder, Sigmacom, has chosen Radeon 9800 and 9200 graphics to power its newest graphics cards, Sigma Radeon 9200 and Sigma Radeon 9800. ATI Technologies is a developer of 3D graphics technologies for desktop and notebook platforms, TVs and game consoles for the handheld market.
