CAE C$140 Million in New Contracts Include Deals with India and Malaysia

Montreal-based CAE Inc. announced that it has been awarded a series of military contracts to supply several foreign defense forces, including those of some Asian countries. CAE is a provider of simulation and modeling technologies and integrated training solutions for the civil aviation industry and defense forces. The total value of the new contracts is more than C$140 million, and include one with IGTEC, a Malaysia-based aerospace technology company, to design and manufacture a C-130H full-mission simulator, and a subcontract by the Boeing Company to provide CAE’s AN/ASQ-508A Advanced Integrated Magnetic Anomaly Detection (MAD) System for eight P-8I Poseidon aircraft to be operated by the Indian Navy. A MAD system is also being delivered and is used on maritime patrol aircraft for a range of global defense forces including South Korea and Japan.
