Canada Japan Tourism Conference Held in Banff, Alberta

The Canadian Tourism Commission announced that the 9th Canada-Japan Tourism Conference is taking place in Banff, Alberta from May 17-19. The Canada-Japan Tourism Conference is an occasion for Canada and Japan to share knowledge and travel practices, to sustain the growth of tourism between both countries by developing a closer working relationship, and to showcase Canada’s quality products and experiences. This year, 70 participants will come together to discuss several important issues including how recent global events such as the Iraq war, SARS, the economy, and travel trends and patterns have impacted the Japanese outbound travel market.
