Canada Pension Plan Investment Board Allocates up to US$350M to Singaporean Data Centre Fund

Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) has committed an initial allocation of up to US$350 million to the Alpha Data Centre Fund (ADCF) of Singapore’s Keppel Capital, with the option to invest another US$150 million. ADCF aims to develop a quality portfolio of new and existing data centre assets in the Asia Pacific and Europe. CPPIB is a professional investment management organization that invests the funds not needed by the Canada Pension Plan (CPP) to pay current benefits on behalf of 20 million contributors and beneficiaries. CPPIB invests in public equities, private equities, real estate, infrastructure, and fixed income instruments.
