Cantronic Awarded $2.6M Video Surveillance Contract in China

Cantronic Systems Inc., based in Coquitlam, B.C., has been awarded a contract by China Unicom to expand its city-wide networked video surveillance system to Kaili, a city in Guizhou province. Cantronic will supply and install technology that will network over 200 new surveillance cameras with 1,463 cameras already installed in Kaili’s existing Safe City video surveillance system. Cantronic will also provide maintenance service totalling C$2.6M for five years after installation. This current expansion is a part of the new regional Sky Net crime-prevention video surveillance monitoring system. Cantronic is a global technology company focused on infrared thermal imaging and night vision systems.
