They include: an agreement with Qiqihar Railway Rolling Stock (Group) Co. Ltd., a railcar manufacturer for the Chinese freight railway market, for the analysis of rail and wheel wear; two separate agreements for the development of a high-speed rail-grinding program and for the development of instrumented wheelsets for high-speed rail operations with Southwest Jiaotong University; and a contract for technical advice to Tongji University, an engineering university, to develop a physical test centre for assessing China’s passenger and metropolitan rail systems.
