Neptune Technologies & Bioressources to Commercialize its Complementary Medicine in Australia

Laval, Quebec-based Neptune Technologies & Bioressources Inc. obtained approval from the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) in Australia allowing the immediate commercialization of its Neptune Krill Oil (NKO) as a complementary medicine in Australia. Neptune Krill Oil is registered under the name ‘Euphausia superba oil’. Neptune also secured a permit from the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service to import material for NKO. Neptune, a company focused on the health and wellness market, develops proprietary health ingredients from marine biomasses, such as krill, with a patented extraction process.
