New Diplomatic Appointments Announced for Afghanistan and Sydney, Australia

Minister of Foreign Affairs, John Baird, announced that Glenn V. Davidson is Canada’s new Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Afghanisan. Prior to his new appointment, Mr. Davidson was the Senegal Program and counsellor (cooperation) in Dakar, Senegal from 2008 to 2011. In addition, Mario Ste-Marie has become the Canadian Consul General in Sydney, Australia. Mr. Ste-Marie was the trade program manager for India in New Delhi.
