Orbite Aluminae Signs MOU with Nalco of India

Montreal-based Orbite Aluminae Inc. announced that it has entered into a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with India-based National Aluminium Company Limited (Nalco). Orbite’s technology, which focuses on extracting metallurgical-grade alumina from aluminous clay, will be evaluated on Nalco’s ores. Nalco is a manufacturer and distributor of aluminum products, and its focus includes bauxite mining, alumina refining, aluminium smelting and casting, power generation, rail and port operations.
