Sarona Asset Management Invests C$3.5 Million in Southeast Asia

Sarona Asset Management of Waterloo, Ontario announced that its Sarona Frontier Markets Fund I LP has committed C$3.5 million to the Aureos South-East Asia Fund II LP, a private equity fund that invests in small and medium sized companies across Southeast Asia. Sarona is an Impact Asset Manager that targets market financial returns in frontier markets. Aureos is a private equity fund management company specializing in investing in small and medium sized businesses in emerging markets. Sarona’s latest investments will contribute to the growing healthcare, education, consumer finance, food and beverage, technical services and logistics businesses of the region.
