Southcorp Wines to Open Offices in Canada

Australia’s largest winemaker, Southcorp Wines, announced that they will be opening offices in Toronto and Vancouver within the next month to support their growing wine business in North America. Southcorp Wines Canada Inc. will be focused on the marketing of premium wines. Canada represents five percent of the company’s total exports. David Combe, Senior Vice President International (and former Australian Consul General to Western Canada) said “Canada is one of our strongest growth markets, with sales increasing by more than 20% in value over the past financial year.” The two Canadian offices will take over the Canadian sales of the companies two premium brands along with their smaller boutique brands in all provinces except Quebec.
