Southern Arc Minerals Announces Delays at Indonesia Project Due to Local Demonstrations

Vancouver-based Southern Arc Minerals announced that it has halted drilling activities at its West Lombok project in Indonesia while working with local authorities and community leaders to resolve local demonstrations. Southern Arc stated that although demonstrators damaged some equipment, there were no injuries that resulted from the unrest. It also said that it is working with the drilling contractor to replace the damaged equipment and that full-scale drilling could resume in September.
