Toyota Suspends Production at Canadian Plants in May Due to Shortage of Parts

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc. announced that it will adjust production in May due to shortage of parts following the March 11 Japan earthquake and tsunami. Production will be suspended at the two Canadian assembly plants the week of May 23rd. There are other plant suspensions that will take place across North America. Production plans beyond June 3 will be determined at a later date.
