Abstract:

International Journal published a special issue to mark the 25th anniversary of the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada. A feature of the issue was the transcript of a conversation between the Honourable Jack Austin, retired senator and former president of the Canada China Business Council; Donald Campbell, former ambassador to Japan and deputy minister of foreign affairs and international trade; the Right Honourable Joe Clark, Canada’s 16th prime minister; and Wendy Dobson, director of the Institute for International Business at the University of Toronto and former associate deputy minister of finance.
