Abstract:

This report summarizes key findings of the 2010 Survey of Canadian Businesses in China, undertaken by the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada between August and October 2010. The report examines the perceptions of constraints to doing business in China and compares with similar studies done by American and German counterparts. The survey is the first of its kind focusing exclusively on the experience of Canadian firms doing business in China. The survey was distributed to more than 600 Canadian companies that have done business in China, receiving a response rate of approximately 16%.
