Vancouver, BC – November 17, 2011 – The Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada has announced it is accepting applications for the 2012-2013 Media and Post-Graduate Fellowship Program.
This year, the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada will award up to three media fellowships, valued at up to $10,000, to Canadian journalists and reporters with the opportunity to explore and become better informed on Asia. Since 1986, 96 media fellowships have been awarded to some of Canada’s most recognized broadcasters and journalists.
The Foundation is also accepting applications to its Post-Graduate Research Fellowship program offering recent Masters and PhD graduates the opportunity to work for one year at the Foundation’s Vancouver office on a research topic of choice, as well as participate in the daily operations of a think tank. The Post-Graduate Research Fellowship is granted to three recent graduates each year valued at $35,000 and $38,000 annually for Master and PhD graduates, respectively.
Media and Post-Graduate Research Fellowships are part of the Asia Pacific Foundation Research Grants Program and designed to stimulate informed discussion on Canada’s relations with Asia.
Deadline for all fellowships is February 15, 2012.
