AgriMarine Signs Research & Development Agreement with Chinese Fisheries Institute

Vancouver-based AgriMarine Holdings Inc. has signed an agreement with the Pearl River Fisheries Research Institute in Guangzhou, China for the collaborative research, development and commercialization of vaccines for the prevention and treatment of various bacterial and viral diseases affecting cold water fish. The agreement sets the stage for collaboration to combine scientific expertise to develop fish vaccines not currently available in China. AgriMarine Holdings focuses on floating closed containment technology and production for sustainable finfish aquaculture. Pearl River is a branch institute of the Chinese Academy of Fisheries Science, a scientific research organization reporting directly to the Ministry of Agriculture.
