Australia's Coffey International Ltd. Acquires Canadian Geotechnical Firm

Coffey International Limited of Australia announced that it has acquired Toronto-based geotechnical firm Shaheen and Peaker Limited and its subsidiary companies S&P Geo Engineering and Geo Canada for approximately C$11 million in a mixture of C$8.8 million in cash and C$2.2 million in shares. Coffey International has a range of specialist companies working in social infrastructure and physical infrastructure and operates in more than 60 countries around the world. Shaheen & Peaker Ltd. is a geotechnical and environmental consulting engineering firm including construction control in the geotechnical, environmental, construction materials inspection and testing, building science, concrete, pavement and transportation sectors.
