Canada-Japan Sign Aerospace Maintenance Agreement

The aviation authorities for Canada and Japan signed a Technical Arrangement for Maintenance that will eliminate duplicate inspections through mutual acceptance of each other’s aircraft and equipment maintenance. The agreement comes into effect in February 2018. Canada, through the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada, is the first country to sign an arrangement for mutual acceptance of maintenance with Japan.
