Canadian Missions in Taipei, Tokyo and Seoul to Promote Cloud Computing Capability

The Canadian Trade Commissioner Service (CTCS) has identified cloud computing as one of the key drivers of ICT sector growth worldwide. Given Canada’s strong capabilities in this field, the Canadian Trade Office in Taipei, and the Canadian Embassies in Tokyo and Seoul have joined efforts for a North East Asian initiative to profile Canada as a world-class cloud computing hotbed and foreign investment destination. The initiative includes seminars, networking receptions, an information booth at INTEROP Tokyo 2010, and one-on-one meetings with local companies in Taiwan, Japan and South Korea.
