CanAsia Selected to Supply Hyundai Mobile Phones to the Philippine Market

Calgary-based CanAsia Financial Inc. announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Mondeo Development Group Ltd., will manufacture and distribute Hyundai mobile phones in the Philippines exclusively for Hyundai Corporation of Korea. Hyundai will provide assistance to Mondeo on general product development, quality control and marketing. It is expected that 120,000 phones will be shipped in the next year. CanAsia designs, manufactures and distributes optical modules to mobile communication device makers, and has offices in Canada, Hong Kong, China and the Philippines.
