Canpotex Announces Sale to China’s Sinofert Holdings

Saskatchewan-based Canpotex, an exporter of potash, announced that it has signed an agreement with Sinofert Holdings Ltd. of China, a fertilizer enterprise, to sell 350,000 metric tonnes of Canadian potash. The product will be shipped before the end of March. Canpotex is an international marketing and distribution company wholly-owned by the Saskatchewan potash producers - Agrium Inc., The Mosaic Company, and Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan Inc. The company has offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Saskatoon, and Vancouver.
