China’s Sinopoc Deploys Aperto Networks’ PacketMAX WiMAX Technology in Sichuan Province
Aperto Networks, a wholly-owned subsidiary of BC-based Tranzeo Wireless Technologies Inc., announced that China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec Corp.), an integrated energy and chemical company in China, has successfully deployed Aperto’s PacketMAX WiMAX products to build a region-wide wireless broadband network in Sichuan province. Sinopec develops and manages gasfields in the mountain area of Sichuan and is leveraging Aperto’s carrier-class QoS and comprehensive network management system to support multiple services including integrated voice, data, and video applications. Tranzeo Wireless Technologies Inc. is a manufacturer of wireless network equipment.
