Erdene Receives Mining License for Molybdenum-Copper Project in Mongolia
Halifax-based Erdene Resource Development Corp. announced that it has received a mining license from the Mongolian government for the Zuun Mod molybdenum-copper project in southwest Mongolia. The Zuun Mod mining license covers an area of 6,041 hectares and includes the South Racetrack and North Racetrack deposits, as well as the Khuvyn Khar copper prospect. The license is valid for an initial 30-year term with provision to renew for two additional 20-year terms. Erdene Resource Development’s focus includes molybdenum-copper, copper-gold, and coal projects throughout Mongolia.
