GeoImaging Accelerator Sold to China’s Institute of Remote Sensing Applications

Ontario-based PCI Geomatics, a developer of geo-imaging software and systems, has been awarded a contract to deliver a GeoImaging Accelerator (GXL) Satellite processing system to China’s Institute of Remote Sensing Applications (IRSA). The GXL system includes support for three commercial high resolution optical satellite sensors, and the ability to generate orthorectified tiled mosaic products at high speed using PCI’s multi-threaded and GPU enabled technology.
