Global Mobile of Taiwan Selects Bridgewater Systems for WiMAX

Ottawa-based Bridgewater Systems Corp., which provides mobile personalization services, announced that Global Mobile, a 4G operator in Taiwan, is deploying the Bridgewater Service Controller and Policy Controller to deliver mobile multimedia services to consumers and enterprises. The solutions are being delivered in collaboration with CommVerge Solutions, a network services company in the Asia Pacific region. The Bridgewater Service Controller provides a high performance platform for centralized subscriber services such as authentication, authorization and accounting, across all access types and infrastructures including 3G and 4G networks. The Policy Controller manages how and under which circumstances subscribers have access to network resources and applications at the appropriate quality of service.
