IRD Announces Four New Highway Traffic Technology Contracts in India Valued at C$2.75 Million
Saskatoon-based International Road Dynamics Inc., through its wholly owned subsidiary IRDSA (South Asia), has been awarded four contracts in India with a total value of approximately C$2.75 million. The first is a contract awarded by the Indu Group of Hyderabad, India to supply Toll Collection Systems and Highway Traffic Management Systems (HTMS) along 40 km of multilane highway under a build-own-and-operate contract. The second is a contract for the supply of HTMS equipment on a 40 km section of highway by the MVR Group. The third is a contract award by Oriental Structural Engineers for the supply of 21 toll lanes. The contract includes the supply and provision of RFID-based readers and tags as well as standard toll equipment. The fourth contract award is from Nagarjuna Construction Company for the supply of toll equipment for ten toll lanes as well as slow speed WeighInMotion equipment for four toll lanes.
