LAT Multilingual Launches Program to Help Canadian Businesses Work with Chinese Tourists

Vancouver-headquartered LAT Multilingual Translation and Marketing Inc.’s newly minted Golden Dragon Certification program seeks to help businesses reach, engage, and welcome Chinese visitors. Obtaining a certificate involves completing three mandatory modules and one of four optional sector-specific modules. The mandatory modules are “Understanding Chinese Culture,” “serving your Chinese Guests,” and “Digital and Mobile Trends in China.” The sector-specific modules include hotels, restaurants, retail, attractions and activities. This certificate program coincides with the 2018 Canada-China Year of Tourism. In 2017, Canada welcomed 750,000 Chinese visitors.
