Manulife Financial Hires 20-Year Veteran of Asia’s Financial Services Sector as CFO

Manulife Financial Corporation, a Toronto-headquartered financial services group, announced the appointment of Steve Roder as incoming Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Mr. Roder who holds over 20 years of experience in Asia, will be responsible for the management and oversight of Manulife Financial’s global financial affairs, including Actuarial and Capital Management, Treasury, Controllership, Taxation, Financial Regulation, Investor Relations and Reinsurance activities.
