MDA’s RADARSAT-2 Imagery Being Used for Rescue and Rehabilitation Efforts in Japan

MDA Systems Information Group (MDA) of Richmond, BC announced that imagery from its RADARSAT-2 satellite is being used to assess damage and direct relief efforts to the main earthquake-stricken areas of Sendai, Japan. MDA provides information solutions that capture and process vast amounts of data, produce essential information, and improve decision making and operational performance. The imagery that MDA is providing supports disaster management efforts through the Canadian Space Agency.
