New Zealand Energy Enters into Agreement with Origin Energy of Australia

New Zealand Energy Corp., a Vancouver-based oil and gas company, announced that it has formed a binding agreement with Origin Energy Resources NZ Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Australia-based Origin Energy Limited, for upstream and midstream assets, including four licenses for petroleum mining. New Zealand Energy is engaged in the production, development and exploration of petroleum and natural gas assets in New Zealand. Its property portfolio includes conventional and unconventional prospects in the Taranaki Basin and East Coast Basin of New Zealand’s North Island.
