Pure Technologies Establishes Joint Venture in China

Calgary-based Pure Technologies Ltd., a technology and services provider for the inspection, monitoring and management of critical infrastructure, announced that it has established a joint venture company with Balama Prima Engineering Co. Ltd. of Hong-Kong. Balama Prima is involved in the infrastructure sector in China and will represent the interest of the joint venture, Pure Technologies China Ltd., in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau. Derek Choi of Balama Prima will serve as Managing Director of the joint venture. Jon Boon, appointed the General Manager of Pure Technologies China, will report to Mr. Choi and be based in Hong Kong. Mr. Boon will also oversee business development for Pure Technologies in other parts of the Asia-Pacific.
