Saskatchewan Agriculture Minister Leads Trade Mission to India

Lyle Stewart, Saskatchewan’s Minister of Agriculture, will lead a week-long trade mission to India from February 13-20, 2016. The delegation will visit Delhi, Jaipur and Mumbai, where they will participate in the Global Pulses Conclave, hold roundtables with importers, and meet with government representatives and business leaders. Representatives of Saskatchewan Pulse Growers, SaskCanola and Saskatchewan Trade & Export Partnership will be present for portions of the mission. 2015 was a record year for Saskatchewan’s agriculture exports to India with C$1.5 billion of sales.
