The delegation was comprised of representatives from Saskatchewan’s two universities and the Saskatchewan Research Council. Mr. Stewart commented that: "strengthening our economic relationships with India, and creating new ones, was the primary purpose of this trip. We met with significant interest in collaboration, investment opportunities in potash, oil and other areas, and exports, and will continue negotiations on these, along with several major trade and investment opportunities.”
