Team Northern BC on Trade Mission to Beijing this Week

Members of Team Northern BC have begun a one-week trade mission to Beijing that will be highlighted by Northern BC Day at the British Columbia . Canada Pavilion on June 19. The trade mission has adopted a .Pathway to Gold’ theme to describe the opportunities available throughout Northern BC including transportation, cultural, resource, education and investment opportunities. The trade mission is comprised of 30 community, business, First Nations, education and agency representatives from Prince Rupert, Kitimat, Terrace, Bulkley-Nechako Regional District, Fraser-Fort George Regional District, Prince George, Mackenzie, Lheidli T’enneh and Fort St. John. Business delegates include Prince George Airport Authority, Northwest Corridor Development Corp., L&M Engineering, Rio Tinto Alcan, College of New Caledonia and the University of Northern BC. CN Worldwide is participating from its Beijing office.
