VideoSphere Solution from March Networks Selected for State Legislature Building in Uttar Pradesh, India

Ottawa-based March Networks, a global provider of intelligent IP video solutions, announced that the company’s VideoSphere video management system and IP cameras have been selected to enhance surveillance throughout the Vidhan Sabha government building in Uttar Pradesh, India. The video surveillance solution is part of comprehensive security management system for the five building complex being implemented by Elkosta Security Systems India, a March Networks certified partner. Video from multiple VideoSphere IP PTZ Dome cameras will be installed strategically throughout the site to enable centralized security personnel to monitor activity in real-time and focus in on or track specific incidents. VideoSphere Edge 4 Encoders with H.264 compression will also be used to bring video from existing CCTV cameras into the IP system.
