Wescast Industries Signs Contract with Japanese Turbocharger Manufacturer

Brantford-based Wescast Industries, a supplier of cast iron exhaust manifolds for passenger cars and light trucks, announced that it has recently been awarded new business worth approximately $80 million in annualized revenues. The new business includes contracts with major European and Japanese turbocharger manufacturers, new business to support Wescast’s emerging stainless steel market segment, as well as incremental and replacement business globally. The company designs, casts, machines and assembles iron exhaust system components for automotive original equipment manufacturers and Tier 1 customers for the car and light truck markets in North America, Europe and Asia.
