Abstract

The Canada-Korea Forum is a high-level, Track II dialogue on current important issues to both countries. The meeting alternates each year between Korea and Canada, and this year Canada hosted the Forum in Calgary.  In addition to discussions on political and economic developments in the two countries, the Canada-Korea Forum 2011 had a special focus on prospects for deeper cooperation in energy and the environment. The Canada-Korea Forum 2011 focused on the theme “Prospects for Deeper Cooperation on Energy and the Environment,” to explore proactive responses to the reality of global energy constraints.
