The 2013 National Opinion Poll commissioned by the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada and undertaken by Angus Reid Public Opinion examines Canadian attitudes towards Asia. While acknowledging the importance of Asia for Canada’s prosperity, this year's poll shows that Canadians appear less enthusiastic to act on opportunities in the region. The poll finds a downward shift in Canadians' embrace of the Asia Pacific, as well as their sense of urgency to deepen relations with countries in the region.
