Results of an online opinion panel of Canadians engaged in Asia through professional, research or personal interests. These surveys, sponsored by Cathay Pacific Airways, address key issues related to Canada-Asia relations.
In this survey, sponsored by Cathay Pacific Airways, Canadians engaged with Asia were asked to consider different dimensions of the Canada-Asia relationship with respect to human rights. Among several key findings, the survey found 65% of respondents believed that promoting economic ties is the most effective way to improve human rights in the region.
