Alanna Mackenzie

I am a recent graduate of the University of British Columbia, where I completed a degree in History Honours and French. I plan to pursue studies in environmental law. My research focuses on the intersections between environmental history, ecotourism and Indigenous history in twentieth century British Columbia. As an undergraduate student, my passion for researching environmental policy issues led me to intern and volunteer with organizations including Green Collar Association and the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada. I am particularly fascinated by the ways in which Canada and Asia can cooperate and learn from each other to forge a more sustainable future through cultural, trade and diplomatic ties.
