Michelle Arnold

I am a recent graduate of the Master of Global Affairs program, housed out of the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto. In the summer of 2011, I completed an internship at an NGO based in New Delhi, India, where I looked at the issue of female foeticide in rural Haryana, specifically focusing on the effectiveness of government policies in addressing this problem. My research interests revolve primarily around gender and development, honing in on such issues as the development of gender-inclusive reintegration programming for child soldiers and international frameworks for curbing human trafficking.
