The Institute for Peace & Diplomacy (IPD) is pleased to host the inaugural East Asia Strategy Forum (EASF 2021) on November 17-18.
IPD aims to launch EASF as an annual North American conference that convenes high-level policy-makers, diplomats, foreign policy experts, and business leaders to engage in constructive discussions around current and emerging issues in the region. This edition of the forum will focus on the geopolitics, strategic thinking, and economic trajectory of East Asia and the Pacific.
As part of EASF 2021, IPD hosts a series of keynote speeches, panel discussions, moderated lectures, and networking sessions to discuss channels for diplomacy, the evolution of statecraft, and regional perspectives on strategic challenges.
EASF 2021 will be in a fully-virtual environment to accommodate COVID guidelines. Starting in 2022, this conference will transition to a hybrid format (in-person and virtual) and the in-person sessions will be held in Washington, D.C and Ottawa.
APF Canada's Vice-President of Research and Strategy, Jeffrey Reeves, and our Distinguished Fellow Hugh Stephens will both be speaking at this virtual conference.
