AsiaBaseMetals to Explore for Lithium in Myanmar

Vancouver, British-Columbia-based AsiaBaseMetals Inc. has announced its entry into Myanmar, application for lithium exploration permits, and a grant of stock options. AsiaBaseMetals has obtained a registration from Myanmar’s Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, which handles company registrations for foreign businesses and serves as a secretary to the Myanmar Investment Commission, the responsible body for investment applications. The company submitted an application for the grant of exploration permits for lithium on mineral claims comprising approximately 74 square kilometres near the town of Thazi, Central Myanmar. AsiaBaseMetals is diversifying its portfolio with special attention in Asia, the Americas, and Africa for base metals, alkali metals, and precious metals.
