Japan’s Kubota Strengthens Its Large Tractor Business in North America

Osaka-headquartered Kubota announced its decision to utilize the development and production capabilities of Manitoba’s Buhler Industries Inc. (Buhler) for a new series of tractors. Kubota is a tractor and heavy equipment manufacturer, with a subsidiary based in Markham, Ontario. Buhler is a Winnipeg firm specializing in design, manufacturing, and distribution of agricultural machinery, which has a proven track record for production and distribution of large tractors in North America. The new arrangement will enable the addition of new tractors with more horsepower and will strengthen Kubota's large tractor business in the North American market. These new large tractors customized for Kubota will be introduced to the United States and Canada starting from the second half of 2019.
